Terms of use
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. Provider and scope
TubeCompass is offered by Daniele De Rosa, Höhenweg 13, 66133 Saarbrücken, Germany. These terms apply to the use of the tool at tubecompass.app.
2. What TubeCompass is
TubeCompass shows you the numbers for your own YouTube channels. It retrieves those numbers through the official YouTube interfaces, stores them and prepares them for reading. TubeCompass is an independent tool and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
3. Access
Access is currently granted on request. To use the tool you need an account with us and at least one YouTube channel for which you grant permission. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret.
4. Your obligations
- You only connect channels you are authorised for. Connecting other people’s accounts without permission is prohibited.
- You do not use the tool to circumvent YouTube’s terms of service, in particular not for the automated mass sending of comments.
- You do not attempt to exceed the interface quota by technical circumvention or to disrupt the service.
5. YouTube terms
TubeCompass uses the YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy applies in addition. You can revoke access at any time through the security settings of your Google account.
6. Availability and data situation
We aim for reliable operation but do not owe any particular availability. Maintenance work and faults may lead to interruptions.
Part of the data comes from YouTube and arrives there with a delay of two to three days. TubeCompass marks which values have been measured and which are still open. We cannot vouch for the accuracy and completeness of the numbers supplied by YouTube.
7. No advice
The analyses are indications, not recommendations and not business advice. You make the decisions about your content yourself.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In the case of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, our liability is limited in amount to the damage typical for this type of contract and foreseeable. Otherwise liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
9. Termination
You can stop using the tool at any time by disconnecting your channels or requesting the deletion of your account. We may end access with reasonable notice; in the case of serious breaches of point 4, also with immediate effect.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms where this is necessary to adapt to a changed legal situation or to changes in the service. We will inform you of changes in good time within the tool.
11. Final provisions
German law applies. If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in force.
